What is wildlife conservation?
Wildlife Conservation is the preservation and protection of animals, plants and their habitats. It doesn’t just focus on our favourite species but looks at the wider ecosystem.
Get Involved.
Get involved in the conservation of your favourite species from the comfort of your own home. With the use of Zooniverse, you can get involved in research on projects that are making a real difference somewhere in the world. Whether it is identifying waterfowl from a drone photo or helping to count, identify and track giraffes in Kenya, you can make a real difference.
Why is nature important?
The natural world is a wonder, inspiration and something that brings us all great joy. It underpins our very existence. The forests, soils, rivers, and oceans provide us with so much, from the air we breathe to the food we eat and the medicines that help heal us. The natural world provides us with so many goods and services that we just couldn’t live without. We are dependent on it for our happiness, health, and wealth, which is why we must protect our natural world.
